Cut nails or spiral nails can be used for lightweight fixings. Nylon plugs, suitable for hanging kitchen units and frame fixers, can be used for heavyweight fixings. Expanded metal fixings or plastic plugs are not to be used.
Not all standard fixings suitable for use with dense aggregate blocks can be used in similar situations with aircrete blocks. A wide range of suitable fixings can be obtained from Clan Building Product or Fischer Fixings - contact Quinn-Lite technical department for further information on fixings.
